It’s a Kitten Shower!
Just like a baby shower… but more fluffy!
Kitten season is almost here, and Darlington County Humane Society is getting ready to help orphaned kittens and mama cats in our community. Join us for a fun, educational Kitten Shower and help us prepare for the busiest time of year.
This is a drop-in event, so stop by anytime during the hours listed below!
Why a Kitten Shower?
Each spring, shelters see a surge of kittens and nursing moms who need immediate care. This event helps us:
Gather much-needed supplies for kitten season
Educate the community on what to do if you find kittens
Connect potential foster families with our team
Save more tiny lives when they need us most
What You’ll Learn & See
During the Kitten Shower, you can:
Watch bottle-feeding demonstrations
Learn about fostering kittens with DCHS
Understand what to do (and what not to do) when you find kittens
Meet kitten coordinators who can answer questions
Drop off donations to support kittens and moms
