Birthday Parties
Hey there, animal lover!
Are you ready to pawty like an animal? Celebrate your child’s birthday in a pawsome way by hosting their party at Darlington County Humane Society! This is the purr-fect way to have a tail-waggin’ good time, all while supporting animals in need.
What’s Included
Here’s what you’ll get with our birthday parties:
Supervised interaction with shelter dogs
One hands-on activity (bandana decorating, cat toy making, or “Adopt Me” signs)
A birthday certificate showing how they helped shelter animals
Group photo time with a shelter “party pet”
Tables, chairs, and cleanup provided
Woof — that’s a lot of fun!
Families are welcome to bring cake, snacks, drinks, and decorations.
Party Details
WHERE:
Darlington County Humane Society
WHO:
Kids celebrating ages 7–12
Ages 6 and under or 13 and over please contact the shelter before booking
WHEN:
Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sundays: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Parties must be booked in advance and are offered on a limited basis.
LENGTH:
Approximately 2 hours (includes setup and cleanup time)
SUPERVISION:
One adult chaperone is required for every five children.
COST:
Total cost is $100. A $50 deposit is required to reserve your date, the remaining $50 is due 3 days before your event.
Waivers & Safety
A signed parent/guardian waiver is required for every child
Photo release forms are required
Please disclose any allergies (including peanut butter)
All animal interactions are fully supervised. Animals are selected based on temperament, age, and comfort level.
