Paw Around the Pee Dee

Give a shelter dog a morning out on the town.

Our Paws Around the Pee Dee field trips are now available on multiple days throughout the week! This program lets you “check out” a DCHS dog for a fun morning adventure, giving them a break from the shelter and extra chances to be seen by adopters.

Spending just a few hours with a dog—walking around town, visiting a park, or grabbing a pup cup, can make a huge difference in their happiness and their future.
